The webinar I watched was called Ten Cool Things Happening in Libraries! It was hosted by Infopeople and the presenters were members of Eureka! Leadership 2009 Fellows. It took place on August 25, 2010.
I really enjoyed this webinar. The information was useful for anyone facing the reality today of a library with a slashed budget. The presenters each gave ideas about things happening right now in some libraries that could be carried over into the library of the person participating in the webinar.
I think online meetings and webinars are going to prove invaluable over the next ten years. They are invaluable now, in a time when budgets for travel and training have faced severe cuts. I think this technology will continue to grow and expand and within the next ten years this technology will revolutionize the way we conduct meetings.
